Never Ready

People always talk about being “ready” to be married, to have kids, to move, to switch jobs, etc. Throughout my life I’ve noticed that I never feel ready to do anything. I could have prayed more, I could have studied more, I could have saved more, I could have changed more, etc. There’s always more that I could do to get ready, but what if God is ready and He just wants me to shut up and come along on this thing that He is doing. Doesn’t He promise us in scripture that He’ll always provide what we need? So lately, I’ve been trying to look at life in terms of God’s timing instead of my being “ready”.

For the last 6 years I have been putting together a Christmas playlist and giving it to friends and family. I used to make actual CDs with artwork, cases, inserts, etc., but I never could send out as many as I wanted to and it took FOREVER. Now I just post the mp3 files so anybody can download them instantly. Works out better for everybody that way. Above is the link to download this years collection. The download should start when you click the link and what you’ll get is a .Zip folder containing 14 .mp3 files that can be easily dragged & dropped into iTunes or whatever program you use for that sort of thing.
